Give Me My Spoon

The twins have been feeding themselves for several months now. Maria has been great helping them at meal times and had them try utensils early on. I was still in the habit of feeding them when it was a messy item, but Connor will have it no longer. He wants to feed himself.

Yogurt is one of the messier items but he went berserk when I tried to feed him. Although it was a little slow going and extremely messy he finished off all the yogurt.

In the long run it's great that he's feeding himself and using utensils. He's pretty funny about it. He'll try really hard to get something on his fork and when he does he waves it around and gets really exited before he takes a bite. Sometimes if he can't quiet get it he'll pick it up with his hands, stick it on the fork and then put the fork in his mouth. Whatever it takes.
