Swim Weekend

It was officially summer for the Swans since we swam every day this weekend.

Friday we had a swim birthday party at a neighbor's house. The party favors were water guns and swim noodles, which was a super smart hit with the kids.

There was only one float in the pool and that became the battle ground.

Saturday the twins wanted to swim again when we woke up from naps. Chloe worn a new swim suit (yes Racheal M., we may have created a monster.)

We pulled out the party water guns and GiGi came over to join in the fun.

Swimming is so much fun, the twins wanted to go again on Sunday.

And since it's so much fun nobody wants to go inside for dinner. So there's decadent pool-side mac-n-cheese.

Then suckers for dessert.

Hair Cuts

The twins love getting hair cuts, mainly because they get a prize/toy at the kiddie salon we go to.

I waited awhile to take them in, so Connor's hair is a bit shaggy.

He looks like a different boy afterwards. I love Connor's curls but his new spiky cut is super cute. 

Of course I may be a little biased, but that's a Mommy's job.

Bird Feeders, Bunnies and Butterflies

On Saturday GiGi's neighborhood had a little get together and she invited us to come with her. Thanks to GiGi and KiKi for all their help, the twins had a blast.

First they got to build and paint bird feeders.

Then pet the bunnies.











To top it all off, they got to go inside the butterfly house. 

Afterwards we had hotdogs, hamburgers, lemonade and snow cones. A pretty awesome day that can definitely wear you out!
