Cute Kids

I know every mom thinks her kids are cute, but mine really are cutie pies. They're cute in person and usually they're pretty photogenic - something they got from their cute Dad.

At their new school it's close to graduation and they had pictures taken last week. These are the worst pictures I've ever seen of my kids. It's like the photographer worked hard to get a bad picture of my super cute kids.

Maybe it's the cap and gown, but I couldn't even find the picture of Connor at first. I guess covering up his hair made it harder to find him, but I scanned the class pictures three times before I figured out which one was Connor.

Chloe has been giving me a fake smile sometimes in pictures now, but even her fake smile is pretty cute.

I don't know what's happening in this shot but he should have tried again. Photo fail!

The good news is that graduation photos were not high on my list of special images. The twins have only been at the school a month and a half, so it's not as big of a deal as it might be for other parents. 

Vist to the Cottonwood Art Fest

It was such a beautiful weekend here and we spent time at the Cottonwood Art Fest.

We played on the playground, watched the ducks, ate giant corndogs and washed it down with giant lemonades. They have an art section for kids and Chloe really enjoys it. She made a hat, painted pottery and they both made wax hands.

The wax hands turned out so cute. They dip the kids' hands in ice water and then in wax to form around their hands. The twins thought it was really cool and were super proud of their wax hands.

A really lovely day for all and pretty art for Mommy!
