Spring Blooms at the Arboretum

This year at the Arboretum's Spring Blooms they have fairy tale castles. We went last Sunday when they had an art show too, but honestly the best part is all of the amazing tulips.

Getting a little grumpy at the end of the morning

Since we have a membership we went again on Tuesday afternoon for a quick trip. They had a petting zoo mostly with goats and a bunny. The twins loved getting brushes that they could brush the goats with and they both got a chance to pet the bunny.

After that we played on a side lawn just out of site of the new DeGolyer Restaurant but within earshot of the pianist they had playing that afternoon. The twins ran all over the lawn exploring and Connor did a little dance to the piano music.

Soon they were ready for their afternoon naps. Next week I want to go back to get pictures made. They have a photographer set up and it's only $15 for a sitting. Also, if we can make nap schedules and lunch work out they have a kids music program at noon. Lots to do!
