Thank Heavens for GiGi!

In December I started a new marketing job for Wisteria and I really love it. If you haven't heard of them, Wisteria is a really cool furniture and home decor retailer. I love the brand and I feel like I make meaningful contributions at work.

The only drawback of my new job is the commute. With Dallas traffic it takes me about an hour each way. It's exhausting. We've already decided to move for a better commute and so when the kids start kindergarten in the Fall we're in a solid school district.

In the meantime it's taken some family adjustments. Carl is super Daddy right now. He's taking and picking the kids up from school, he's packing lunches, he's grocery shopping. He's basically keeping the household running while he works his full-time job too. However, sometimes he has to travel for work.

Thank Heavens for GiGi!

When Carl travels my Mom picks the kids up from school. I think they love it best when GiGi picks them up because they always get a good snack and she usually has fun surprise for them too. A few weeks ago it was puzzles.

Mom also invites the kids to spend the night with her some weekends. It's an adventure for the twins and it's an awesome break for Carl and I. They really get engrossed in activities at GiGi's house.

I'm not even sure what he's doing here, but he had to do it in the garage and it required wearing gloves.

I just could not do it without my Mom's help. I love you Mom!
